According to PrepScholar.com, Wharton’s SAT requirements are currently set at 1500. This roughly translatesto an IQ score between 145 and 149, not 156. Regardless, Wharton’s admission requirements are irrelevant, since Trump did not enter Wharton as a freshman. He transferred there his junior year, and Wharton does not list SAT scores among its requirements for transfer students.

Gwenda Blair claimed in her 2001 biography about Donald Trump and his family that the President-elect was admitted to Wharton thanks to a friendly admissions officer:

Gwenda Blair, in her 2001 book “The Trumps,” said that Trump’s grades at Fordham were just “respectable” and that he got into Wharton mainly because he had an interview with an admissions officer who had been a high school classmate of his older brother. And Wharton’s admissions team surely knew that Trump was from one of New York’s wealthiest families.

Donald Trump’s true intelligence quotient is unknown, but the article published by BeforeItsNews.com certainly does not document that it is 156 — or any other number.

Careful no political in the bored room.

Speaking of President Donald Trump's IQ, Dr. Barbara A Perry of the University of Virginia's Center for Presidential Studies says his IQ may be higher than people thought.   " Perry said. "People who do not like Trump are often ironic that he is a fool, but I bet the president's IQ will surprise many."

Keep in mind that 1500 is the lowest score for entry, and there is no upper limit.  Secondly, being admitted as a junior is an indication of at least that kind of score, as Dr. Thomas Sowell has pointed out.  He makes the point that someone with significantly lower than entrance average to a school will generallly not be able to keep up with those who are at or above that average, thus failing or quitting.  So anyone going in as a junior has that handicap to meet, but must also overcome the competition of peers who have been competing at that level for two years, where he has not - similar to going from a level three white water to a level five.

Another point to keep in mind is that there are very smart people who don’t do well because there is nothing challenging them, and they fail out of boredom, or just get by for the same reason.  So what Ms. Blair claimed as an argument for his not being very smart is an argument for the exact opposite.

Nobody has said he isn’t intelligent.

but his grades aren’t available and he most likely got in by who he is. Only freshman were required to have the 1500 SAT, transfer students (especially rich ones) didn’t.

he wouldn’t be where he is if he wasn’t an intelligent person, but projecting Einstein intelligence, Superman strength, Capt America morals, etc is not realistic or helpful. It give the other side ammo for a hero worship accusation.

(just like we did with Obama)

Number one, you are ignoring Dr. Sowell and the effect of competing with smarter people on a daily basis for two years, even if money got you in.

Number two, this is a reaction to the media, Hollywood and others constantly carping on how dumb he is, and trying to make a valid logical argument to the contrary with facts that are known and verifiable.

Number three.  It seems to me that your own anti “hero worship” position keeps driving you to oppose any positive Trump statement, no matter how mild or even how true.

Number four is that the other side doesn’t need ammunition, they keep loading blanks when they don’t have live ammo.

Number five.  If you are truly opposed to hero worship, on either side, you have to acknowledge both the good and the bad, on either side.
