RustyL
I'm going to put one in my CZ 452 American. Anyone have experience with these. The reason I'm asking is, are the shims necessary?
GlockPride
I have one I put in 452 American and love it. Yes, the shims were necessary in mine, but I don't think they all require it. I think it depends on the machining and tolerances. I don't have a trigger pull gauge, but I would guess mine is probably sub 1 lb with the lightest spring and 100% positive ignition after several hundred rounds. My absolute favorite rimfire rifle so far.
RustyL
I actually just did this tonight. I used the tubes to take a small amount of creep out. I have no gauge to measure the pull on it but it ain't much. Seems like a chigger could fart on it and it will fire.
DWARREN123
Use to use small copper tubing to do this on the cheap.

Armorydoc
The YoDave kit is worth the money. A little time switching out parts and mating the right combination makes a huge difference in the shootability of the gun.
Appalachained
I’m going to install mine soon. I don’t want to do it in a hurry and I haven’t had time. The Blue (smallest) shim is missing from my kit which sucks as that’s probably the one I’ll need being that my gun has the slightest hint of creep. This is going on a bench rest only rifle so I’m going to go pretty light.
ede
I installed one dropped pull from 2 something to under 1. Took a couple tries to get right combination of parts.
