mmcbeat Posted August 27, 2018 Share Posted August 27, 2018 I recently bought a new Glock 17L. It’s a Gen 3 and I assume it was part of the 2017 Summer Special promotion. I really like the gun, it’s a keeper. I actually bought it to replace one I sold several years ago. I wonder if there will be anymore 17L’s? I would really like to have one in Gen 5. TeaDub Posted October 4, 2018 Share Posted October 4, 2018 It seems that Glock does the 17L in batches. The 24 as well with even longer breaks between runs. That can be a year, two or more. Glock rarely seems to completely quit making a model (as long as it's generation is still current). It's a smart move IMO. Let demand outstrip supply and then make another run.
