Her rejection by the Russian government was attributed to her astronomical dietary requirements, overburdening of sanitation systems and atmospheric oxygen depletion related to her enormous biomass. The Antonov was barely able to achieve liftoff and had difficulty maintaining altitude with the huge gelatinous mass secured in its cargo hold. After unloading what the Command Pilot referred to as, “....the massive, foul smelling, lipid dense cargo.” at Oakland, he included a statement (off the record) that he would throw himself into one of the huge aircraft’s engines before he would put himself through another disgusting ordeal like this again.
