Grandpa took hundreds of photos during his invasion of Italy and his unit was one of the ones used for inspiration for the movie "Fury". I've shared these photos before and have been contacted by historians. His never before seen photos have provided some much needed information in WWII research. I'll probably do a thread on TBS on Veteran's Day featuring many more of his photos to honor his memory and his sacrifice.
