There's no doubt some good people playing ball.  Patrick Tillman comes to mind.

But the national anthem is something that should unify people.

The point has been made. So have the discussion about what you want to change.

But please stand if you can.

They have every right to choose to not get my money.  The turning point for me was seeing two faced Jerry Jones trying to have it both ways last year.  **** them all.  I refuse to participate in their show.

wrestling has made an industry of fake bad guys and fake good guys.

 any sport can be criticized if you look deep enough into the microscope. 

The good outweighs the bad by far, but people focus on the hot topic of the day. Standing next to the guy that is taking a knee is a good man that has a children’s cancer charity. 

J. J. Watt has raised millions for hurricane relief........but my faux outrage is fun. 

if some choose to ignore the 95% of great things to focus on an idiots. Then they are the losers.

I'm more of a college football guy.

But I was disappointed in jones taking a knee.

You are entitled to your opinions, but just because others don't agree with you doesn't make them losers. Such incendiary blanket comments have no place in a reasonable discussion.

The NFL, as an institution, has decided to indulge these jackasses. I don't give a **** what they are protesting. They are doing so on our time and they are pissing on a fundamental, time-honored institution of our nation to do so. What they are doing is wrong for several reasons and it frightens and disappoints me that so many Americans either don't seem to see or don't care about what these protests say about the protestors, nor the damage it does to our society.

Believe what you like. For me, I am done with the NFL, now and forever.

Not likely to change. Particularly over this issue.

It is sort of like a story I remember from somewhere.  A person made a bunch of brownies.  Except this time they put just a very small part of poop in the brownie mix.  Would you eat those brownies?  The NFL allows some of its pampered poodle players to disrespect the US flag during the opening ceremonies.  While there are some good folks in the NFL, like most of the ingredients of the brownies are great, I will not eat the brownies, and I will not in any way, support the NFL unless they fire those pampered poodles, immediately.

They are very lucky to make a living in sports. Sure it has to be lot of work. But the reality is this is entertainment and they are lucky to  have it. They appear as very ungrateful for everything that supports them.

As a form of employment it beats watching guys taking a shower at a prison.

I think they will survive your loss. Bet you haven’t seen a live game in 5 years or more. So, those in line for food or a beer should jump out of line and put a hand on their heart and fake it?

Thanks to President Trump I create jobs.  Over 80K (between all of my clients) during the current administration.  I can do this because I don't behave in ways that costs my employer millions and millions of dollars.  Of course if I put my personal agenda ahead of my job I'd be fired.  So I don't.  What do you do?  I mean other than your endless quest to be all edgy and stuff.  lol
