I have a permit for the Kenai Mtns and have taken several goats there in the past. Permit is good till mid Oct. Also have a cow moose permit for the Homer area. Runs from mid Oct to mid Nov. I will be archery hunting for moose starting Aug 20th. Have taken 18 with my bow. Rifle season starts Sept 1st and runs through the 25th. I get a moose every year one way or another.
