Smoker Thread!

Recommended Posts

I have a completely custom built miniature reverse flow smoker that I built for traveling RV style with.    It can be stick fired, propane fired, stick fired lit by propane burner or what I do most often is burn propane with a cast iron skillet over the burner with chips or pellets thrown in it.

It's large enough that I can do a large pork shoulder, a decent sized brisket or if I use a rib rack about 5 racks of ribs.   Unfortunately anymore it only gets used a couple times a year.

At home I have a dumb ole Traeger that I use out of laziness.   It's probably had about 20 20lb bags of pellets burned through it in the last 7 years.  Over half of that on smoke jobs and not grilling.

Weber Smokey Mountain 22.5" vertical smoker.  I much prefer vertical smokers to off-sets.
