Not sure what is going on here but I'd be happy to observe for a few hours and try to figure it out.

I'm not sure what that is but I like it.

Had one about 15 inches try to steal my rucksack in Puerto Rico once. Had to go hand to hand with the bugger.

In El Paso I saw C-5's coming out of Biggs Field. It's awe inspiring in several ways. For obvious reasons the C-5 has been called the "Aluminum overcast." Seeing something so big looking like it was flying far too slow messed with my senses. And due to the high bypass engines it was far too quiet. A J-3 cub makes more noise at take off.

I'd like to see the wings up close. I suspect besides the usual flaps they've added some leading edge slats or whatnot to make the wing surface effectively much larger at low speeds.

The C-5 has LEX.

The next big thing is the live, blended wing.

Star Fleet-type engineering ,it is.

I did a walkthrough of the C-5A when it was unveiled at Lockheed. I was 10 or 12, I guess, and it was the biggest thing I'd ever seen. And yeah, it's way too big and goes way too slow to not be lighter than air.

Guys, images graphically depicting serious injury or death are not allowed here, for any reason.
