Sadly the second family.  The first was in the Civil War and Lincoln’s letter was quoted in the letter to Mrs. Sullivan.  Navy destroyer the USS The Sullivan’s was named for them.

Your correct, I should of known that since there was a monument erected to them just a couple years ago.  Toolesboro, is not that far from where I live and I have been by the monument.  It is located on a rural highway and the community is very small.  Prior to the monument it was know for the Indian mound site with a small museum.
