I tried to face the fight within
But it's over
I'm ready for the riot to begin and surrender
I walked the path that led me to the end, remember
I'm caught beneath with nothing left to give, forever

Crafty little lip tricks
Tattoos on her left hip
She bending as your spending
There's no ending it so baby come on
Dressed up like a princess
Bettin' that her skin smells better
Than the scent of every flower in the desert, come on

Gilda Radner was the first person to say "bitch" on TV.  The censors let it go because Emily Litella was a sweet old lady.

(A fantastic documentary on Gilda, on CNN right now.)

Probably not. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_interracial_kiss_on_television
One ST thing that's rarely mentioned is whether Kirk's fooling around with the green Orion slave girl is interracial or interspecial.

It seems that the sentiments of the writers and the producers of ST predict (or suggest) that in the distant future a commonality of sentience and mutual consent will (or should) be the defining factors related to the appropriateness of sexual relationships between living organisms across the Universe.....
Hmmmm.......

Yeah, and they've never really provided a convincing explanation of how their economy actually works. Like Marxism, it completely ignores human nature.

In ST every statement and every action of every person is recorded and subject to playback and review. There is very little screen time allotted for activities of the economic classes, with the majority of time spent portraying the lives and crises caused by Military Conflicts often caused by the Political Elite of opposing alien civilizations.
