Then we drove it over the edge and down the ski run. The little speedometer said 70 (IIRC). It was a little drum like thing in some liquid, but we didn't have time to check it carefully, since we were in danger of being thrown off, or the darned thing rolling over. It rattled and make all kinds of noises, but that damn little "engine that could" survived the ski run and jumping the curbs of a cross road, between a couple of houses and into the next cross street, before we could get stopped.
