I've gone off on a bit of a tangent, but I LOVE old trucks like this and it's Vart's fault, because he showed me a cool old truck.

It's worth spending a little time reading up on Cord, Auburn, Duesenberg. The company was way ahead of its time in a lot of ways and had a lot of innovative features.

I'm pretty sure this one was at our local Barrett-Jackson this year.

This vehicle was sold almost exclusively as a fleet vehicle back then, mostly as ambulances and such. It had ambulance doors on the back, one door on the driver's side and two doors on the passenger side. There weren't many colors available for it and this color was a very common one, for the ones that ended up as EMT/ambulances. It very well could have been the same one though. There aren't many of them around that are in this kind of condition.

My parents had one when I was in middle school. I loved that old thing.
