Eric, are you going to have a for sale section.

And if this was asked, sorry for missing it.

I'm glad you mentioned that. I do intend to add classified ads forums. Doing so slipped my mind. I'll put it on my list. Thanks.

Apparently if there is one we will not be allowed to buy and sell marijuana and bongs and stuff there

When visiting GT I would hit GNG, GSSF, Glock, Gen Firearms. Once the Active Threads panel appeared I would wander into Political Issues or Religious via a thread, but almost never actually clicked on the forum. I seldom visited the other forums, but I won't say never cause I am not that consistent about anything.

The important things to me are:

Somewhere to connect with GSSF shooters, see info on matches etc.

Somewhere where I can kick back and discuss food, politics, life and society, current events, and debate important issues like Ginger vs Mary Ann. (Mary Ann, for the record.)

Somewhere to discuss Glocks, shooting Glocks, moding or not moding Glocks and limp wristing.

I'd like an active reloading forum. I'm converting to shooting handloads for matches, need to update some 30 year old equipment etc and the last time I visited my favorite, dedicated reloading site it cost me two days of trojan and malware removal work.

I think you should go minimalist regarding sub-forums.

After all, if there is enough interest in a particular area you can always create a sub-forum at least on an interim basis.

That being said, after you separate the wheat from the chaff, I hereby offer my services as the Moderator of the Turkish TriStar/Canik sub-forum.

Not to be confused at all with those Czech (CZ) or Tangfoglio wannabe clones!

LOL!

Actually, the way you have it set up right now, with a variety of sub-forums isn't bad at all. Give them some time, and if there isn't much traffic, then do the culling.

You can always add sub-forums another time if there appears to be an interest in a particular niche.

Put me down as a supporter of the mega-forum concept.

Everything in one place.

Plus, the formula worked with GT.

Seriously, it's a proven formula. Just look how successful GT is compared to other gun sites.

Why mess with success?

I don't want to wade through cat threads and cop threads when I want to talk politics, or vice versa.

Happyguy :)

I don't know if we will ever need regional or state groups, no hurry to add them now.

Maybe each of 4 time zones, maybe further divided by north and south

...... (example, EDT north or south of Mason Dixon Line at PA/MD)

Or just two regions, one on each side of the Missississippi River.
