I just realized that I was never into off-roading. All my trucks had and have 4WD, but I didn't even try to go anywhere. Around my neck every piece of land is owned by somebody and park rangers will kick you out if you get off track. Florida is becoming very crowded.

We have some events for mudding etc, but I hate getting dirty or scratching up my vehicles, so that ain't gonna happen.

If my HOA wouldn't excluded them, I'd get a deuce and a half, just to piss off some liberals down the road.

I would love to have that HMMWV 6x6.

It's not actually related to the HMMWV.

It's an experimental vehicle based on the M151.  Basically they had a big stockpile of parts and wanted to see if they could make something usable from them.  Late 80's early 90's I think.

Anyway, that one was a barn find.  Something around 60 of them were made for trials, but didn't get adopted by anyone, so most were sold off to South America somewhere.

It's called the Alley Cat.

Ah. It was smaller in the other pic and I'm not wearing my glasses. I would love to have a 6x6 HMMWV though. :599c64bfb50b0_wavey1:

I don't think they ever made a HMMWV 6x6. If they did, I never saw one. An Israeli company once made a bolt-on 6x6 conversion for them though.
