Do we have any other information on where this is? When the picture was taken?

Those trees are several years old at least. Also doesn't look like there is a fence around it.

Pretty curious layout and building types. Almost looks like a storage facility for boats or some such.

That was my point, this was built a long time ago, it is a huge and expensive complex, a lot of infastructure to support a operation like that, it's a warehouse for people.

What kind of government does something like that? We all know the answer is not a good one.

It will be interesting when they decide the expense of housing people like that is too much. Only options are to either release them or kill them.

I agree that the camp is probably in violation of a multitude of human rights. I also agree that probably no good will come of what happens there.

I was basically responding to your original inquiries about the picture.

It sounded like you doubted the authenticity of the picture or the story and I went looking for the answer just to see if it was an authentic picture. I had heard the stories and was curious. Sounds like all the stories are true and we agree on your points. The camp was originally built as a "fly-in-fly-out workers’ camp" and has been there for quite a few years. The rules are seriously overbearing, not quite prison but definitely not a free run camp.
