Historian
I loved his show. Started listening when i was in about the 10th grade. WNIS in Virginia Beach, VA...it was news and talk but i think the format is now sports. Made my college schedule around his classes, too. Lots of memories. Radio is an amazing medium. It's deeply personal. There have been some great voices across the radio in the past 100 years. He paved the way for many others. He may have saved AM radio waves. But there is only one...Rush Hudson Limbaugh. Edited February 18, 2021 by Historian 2

Gunboat1
Rush Limbaugh did more for America than almost any other public figure of the second half of the 20th Century. If we are able to save this Republic, or to build a better one on its ashes, it will be because of his clear, well-articulated thoughts and vigorous arguments which blossomed into the conservative consciousness of millions of Americans. Well deserving of the Presidential Medal of Freedom he was awarded, he will remain a historical figure of immense proportion. It is a measure of his effectiveness to see the incredibly tasteless, vitriolic venom being spewed by the left in their commentary on his passing. The party of "Love and Equality" are showing themselves as the hate-filled, obnoxious, classless evil demons that they are. Mark them - they are the enemy and the battle approaches. God Bless Rush Limbaugh, and may he rest in peace and honored memory.

Huaco Kid
A great American. It'll forever ruin all of my long road-trips. In rural areas, I'd scroll for hours, trying to find him. 1

They said the show would continue with "legacy" reruns and guest hosts. Some of his usual hosts are very good, but they ain't no Rush.

Ken Matthews is good all around, I suppose. Listening to Mark Stein and Mark Levin is like getting ear raped.
