That's why you play with Legos on a table and not on the floor! 1

My parents took me out of kindergarten because they got to hear repeat complaints. I used to steal bricks from other kids when I needed them for my builds. I kid you not. 1

Hook
I have a friend that does elaborate lego builds he loves them things. He said it helped when he gave up drinking and it helped keep him sober. Not too change the subject but i got into a vette once a few years ago at the used side the dealer had a big old building lucky no-one was in there with my bad hips i had to roll out on the ground and climb up from there. Car was no where near as nice as crocketts. Sorry for going off topic carry on.
Historian
My wife is very interested in Legos. Over the pandemic she built a number of very nice cities. Paris, Hong Kong, etc.
railfancwb
Often enough, having a good idea is only the beginning. https://blogforboys.net/2008/07/before-legos-we-kicked-it-old-school.html
railfancwb
Brother had plastic bricks. I had Lincoln Logs (rounded, American Logs were square) We both played with both, and later my children enjoyed the toys we had left behind.

ChuteTheMall
Never had any Legos, mastered the Lincoln Logs, then moved up to the Erector Set with the little wrench and screwdriver, nuts and screws and steel girders which would be too dangerous for the modern generations who get stumped by an Ikea bookshelf. 2
