A 62 and I have the unicorn of Valmets as a matter of fact- a NIB M76 with a milled rec in 7.62x39, one of about 50 that made it in. Used to have a bunch but slowly down-sized. I have always wondered as that is an exceptionally unusual firearm. Fantastic! For some strange reason...i would have liked to have a FAMAS but those rifles were similar in that about 50 made it in.
Valmet
Yes and while all pre-bans bring serious coin (esp these days), the FAMAS’s are ridiculous. $25-30k for a semi?! No thanks. Funny footnote about the FAMAS, when Century brought them in in 1988 (roughly 100), they were very slow sellers and most of them sat under a leak in the warehouse roof and the boxes were destroyed as a result. That’s why you never see them with their boxes. Sorry for thread hijack. Edited December 18, 2020 by Valmet
pipedreams
Though this comment from her was important. “Being able to share the experience with my dad, it was just really fun.”
