Administrators Eric Posted November 25, 2020 Author Administrators Share Posted November 25, 2020 That is a Ferrari 275 GTB/C Speciale Scaglietti. The 275 GTB/C Speciales range in value from around $800k, to more than $25 million. This car was probably nearer the lower end of the price spectrum, but it’s owner may well have been in the bushes opening a vein, when that pic was taken.
kerbie18
Is there even a hope for fixing it at that point? It reminds me of Colonel Potter shooting his jeep to put it down.

GT4494
Reminds me of my in-laws. They had a Honda Accord. After a driver failed to stop behind them the car turned into a Honda "Accordian"... Quote
holyjohnson
Nurburgring and Old Ferrari's do not mix. hand reforming the Aluminum will cost as much as paying another owner to Pattern off of Theirs, and even then it will never be the same because it was hand built one at a time by Pininfarina and each one is unique. that was the first year for the GTB/C to have the 4 Cam V12 to compete with the Daytona Coupes. and the production was slowed drastically then stopped to complete the P-Cars to try and Beat the Ford Gt`s in 67/68. Which Ferrari couldn't do, the new V12 and reduced production makes that a rare car, bet the Insurance guy was pissed. minervadoe
I have to imagine that this was track related and they signed a waiver. Was it intentional that the photo was taken next to some dumpsters?
