Redhookbklyn
Being a Brooklyn, NY pizza snob I definitely Pooh-Pooh the idea of cauliflower crust. I like cauliflower as a side dish for steak or even in a garden salad. Pizza crust, no way. Thin crust is a must. Toppings such as mushrooms, onions, garlic, meat and even anchovies are good. Pineapple, pfffffft. When you fold that slice of pizza and take a bite the olive oil should run down your forearm. The sauce should have a little spice to it. I am not a fan of sweet tomato sauce either. Grated Pecorino Romano is good, Parmigiano Reggiano even better.
