minervadoe
It reminds me of the scene in License to Kill where they threw somebody into a decompression chamber and fiddled with the controls. But, I'll take Kim Chi over sauerkraut or haggis any day. Kimchee from Kim's Convenience (aka Andrew Phung). https://giphy.com/search/kimchee

Historian
I happen to like a good haggis as well. But were talking about Kimchi and i've hand a hankerin for some for a while. We have a nice Korean place about five minutes from here and they make a Kimchi that will make your eye balls sweet. It is amazing.
Mrs.Cicero
I don't know why people don't like haggis. Well, maybe if they've been eating the canned stuff. Anyway, my only experience with kimchi was when our martial arts master took us all out to eat after a test, and challenged us all to try it. Half the table cried. He laughed and laughed. It was pretty funny, I admit. Through my tears.
DWARREN123
My wife (Korean) makes it quite often. A good side dish with the other stuff she makes.

Al Czervik
I make it from time to time. But, I have to use the Korean double lid fermenter gizmos so Mrs. C doesn't flip out about the smell. ETA, one of my other favorite fermented cabbages is kraut with lots of turmeric and crushed caraway seeds. Zonny
I love Kimchi. I used to date a guy who's ex wife was Korean. He was always impressed that I could 'put it down' as well as I could when we'd go out for Korean food. <~~~ Stomach of iron. 1
DWARREN123
It is a acquired taste. Many do not like it the first few times but they come around. Another good food is Yaki-Man-Du, pot stickers. Made with thin noodles, vegetables, rice and some type of favorite meat!
