Bread knives

I make lots of bread, which requires tearing or cutting.  I like cutting, my family tears at it like animals.  Anyhoo, over the past 20 years, I have used about all brands of bread knives from cheap to stupid expensive. This one delivers.  https://www.chefknivestogo.com/tobrkn.html You can find it for as little as $17.  Like even the most expensive, after a year or two, it is meh.  Get another one.

Got one that looks like that except it only has two rivets in the handle.  No markings other than stainless steel and it does a great job.  No idea were it came from or what it cost.

Here's a review.  I like the aggressive teeth of the Tojiro.

That is one great knife! You should make more and sell them on the Internet. I would buy one!

It's not my design.   I got it from a wood working magazine and I bought the blade from a vendor.  I have a spare blade or two for the future.

The blade is really sharp and a few bucks so when it gets dull you throw it away and your good for a couple of years more.

My wife just throws knives into a drawer so the edges don't last long.  I put a leather loop in the handle so it hangs from the cupboard and nothing hits the edge except bread.  It does work very nice.

I've one of these.  I don't know how long I've had it but it's been a llooooong time!  Maybe a Ginsu?  I think I bought it at one of those "As seen on TV" stores in the mall.  Still cuts just about anything like butter.  Makes square cuts very easy but my Wife still can't cut bread straight.  "Cut roast beef so thin your mother in law will never come back!"
