i got 3 wrong and 1 i dispute, Question #9 Alaska Straddles the Date line so i Declare it an Easternmost State as well.

AND! in Knowing that, i award myself 3 Extra points for a score of 100 Percent. AND! !in placing my name and date Correctly at the top of the page i award myself Two Extra percentage Point increasing my score of 102 Percent, answering each Question Single spaced and well inside the Margins i`m Awarding myself another 3 Points, for a Combined score of 105 Percent!

well past the mere 100 Percent required for a passing Grade!

(and that is how i maintained a 4.3 GPA all the way through High School)

I got most of em right. I'm there with Gwalchy, us old coots just pick up stuff along the way.

However, due to HoJo's questionable (is this common core?) math, I hereby move to strip his score, and give him a Participation Trophy.

21.    The language of Brazil is:  Tranny Speak..,,

27.    Our WW-2 enemy, the Axis, was composed of which countries?  Germany only.  They Bombed Pearl Harbor

34.    Russia sold this land to the USA.  The Brooklyn Bridge

44.    The Dewey Decimal System controlled what?  The amount of Taxes We Pay

48.    What criminal charges were filed against gangster Al Capone?  Labeling the wrong proof, overstated the percentage, of a bottle of alcohol he sold to the cops.

Those of us that were around in 1959 know that Alaska (May) was admitted as a state before Hawaii (August.)

We also know that Arizona was the 48th state admitted, but like Alaska and Hawaii, New Mexico (47) and Arizona were admitted within months of each other.

Why do we know this?

Because we went to school in the 1950s, when they actually educated us.

I don't recall which states preceded Arizona and New Mexico, but I'll bet Oklahoma was admitted not too long before.

That is the sum of my knowledge, except that I know that Texas was admitted to the Union in 1845 as the 28th state because, heck, we all know that.

And, yes, i can still name the original thirteen states.

Now, I need a nap.
