GlocknSpiehl
My WIfe and my coworkers make much fun of me because I hate the MRI. I work as Nuc Med Tech and am the Lead Tech at my Office. Had to have two Brain MRs in the last 6 mos, complete with "Hannibal Lechter" mask. 30 mg Valium each time to get thru it.

I hope your results came back healthy and you don't have to do it again! It's the stupid mask that does it. If I can move my head, it's not nearly as bad. And I don't have to move it, I just need to know that I can. 2

GlocknSpiehl
Somewhat peripheral to the core subject... I perform the PET/CT scans. I'm currently involved in 4 different Alzheimers research studies. They are all different: looking to stop progression, dissolve plaque, prevent Tau build up, etc.Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk 2

In 20 years it will be even better.
jk_226
I've spent way too much time in one of those for someone my age. The last one was sweet though. It had headphones with music you could pick from to listen to during the MRI. I almost fell asleep in that thing. Finding a cure or at least a long term pause would be wonderful! 1
