KICKING OUT THE WHITE FARMERS DIDN'T HELP
Exiled Farmers Who Lost Land Asked Back - Most Fled

Zimbabwe's incredible Land Grab against White Farmers took a toll and it's still going on in neighbouring Countries where White Farmers are being attacked and killed.

Quote: "As things stand, we will run out of food by end of February, coinciding with the peak of the hunger season — when needs are at the highest," Balzer said. The United Nations did not mention the Genocide against White Farmers.

Zimbabwe has invited the surviving White Zimbabwean Farmers back however they won't own the Land, simply work it. Russia has much better offers and so does Portugal.

It's true there is a drought and those happen however attacking, killing and exiling the White Farmers who were skilled at dealing with water problems was a bad idea and Robert Mugabe did a fine job.

It isn't the drought that is killing them, it's the drive for something for nothing!  Their history tells them this!  Once again, ignorance is chosen over reason.

This is the inevitable result of a population that wants the benefits provided by others with skills.  Then when the population thinks they can have the Golden Goose, the fools eat it!

You can get something for nothing but for only  a while.  Pretty soon you have to put forth your own effort of die.  Socialism/Communism isn't the panacea the left want's you to believe.

This stupid country will literally go right back to the wasteland they were, before they lived off the fruits of others labor.

Yep!  It has little to do with crops!

HEY!!  Nobody told them they had to work the land to prosper.  If someone had, they would have left the farms alone.  I read where fruit trees were being cut for firewood.

With South Africa headed down the same road, there is going to be a humanitarian crisis on the African continent that will be Biblical in scope.

Its one of the reasons dems don't like that Bible very much.  It holds a LOT  of wisdom and warnings on how to life a good life.

Took the Bible out of schools, and its been downhill ever since.

The problems there seem to continue in spite of attempts to fix them.

There has never been a cohesive, forward thinking leadership anywhere there....unless they were occupied, colonized, and controlled.
unfortunately, that generally turns to subjugation

Your closer to a truth that many don't want to hear.

Some cultures are not ready for freedom

You also find similar feelings in the ME.  A reporter told one Iraqi that America was bringing them "freedom".  The response was that, "We don't want freedom!".

It seems that cultures that still live in the past, have little desire to come into the present.

No offense intended.  Here's where our assumptions show themselves as influenced by our culture.  I think they would have to leave their culture and join ours to even understand freedom.  But, their culture is so ingrained that they may never assimilate into a free culture.  It is easier to follow orders given by a despot or a God than to develop a mind that can handle being free.

You are right.  I remember reading an article from a reporter that followed some new immigrants from a former Eastern Bloc country, while they shopped in a grocery store for the first time.

He said they had a terrible time shopping and when he asked why, they said that they weren't used to making a choice between the many products for the same purpose.  When they shopped in their home country they had only one choice for many things and most of the time there was a lack of many products so they just had to take was  offered and make do without the things the store didn't have.

They went on to say that picking what they wanted was almost overwhelming for the variety.  One Russian Prime Minister visiting the USA said that if his people could see an American Grocery Store their government would be doomed.

We grow up being used to making choices to satisfy ourselves while most of the world can't comprehend having too much to pick from.  They haven't had the chance to learn to choose when their choice was only one thing.

We are accustomed to having plenty and we have the good fortune to be fussy about picking.  We don't appreciate how many can't do this in their home country.
