Interesting article, from the NYT of all places.  Cuba basically exports doctors on expat assignments around latin and south america and the Cuban government takes 3/4 of the contracted wage.

Quote

“When you leave Cuba for the first time, you discover many things that you had been blind to,” said Yaili Jiménez Gutierrez, one of the doctors who filed suit. “There comes a time when you get tired of being a slave.”

They're feeling the Bern.

For fifty-eight ******* years.

Why do you think Cubans from all walks of life would rather die horrible deaths at sea for a chance to get out of that shithole and come here? It's not for the beaches, I can guarantee that.
