Cuba basically exports doctors on expat assignments around latin and south america and the Cuban government takes 3/4 of the contracted wage. Why do you think Cubans from all walks of life would rather die horrible deaths at sea for a chance to get out of that shithole and come here? It's not for the beaches, I can guarantee that.
