(I've been in spectacular accidents before, and I think that wasn't so much "walking into a pub" as much as it was an instinctive "I don't want to be in this exact spot, right this second".) (After one motorcycle crash, I stumbled across someone's front yard and collapsed on their front porch, because I knew that laying in the middle of the road was right out.)
