JJHNSN Posted September 25, 2017 Share Posted September 25, 2017 (edited) I'm going to have to go with the P-51 Mustang with the engine and unique "whistle" ... just nothing like it and a sound best enjoyed live at an airshow, but this video is just about the next best thing. She set some speed records, back in her day. The car is powered by a 32-valve, dual overhead-cam Lycoming straight 8 engine. Lycoming was a famous aircraft engine manufacturer of the era and the Duesenberg engine was a modified aircraft engine.
