Happy upcoming New Year, (Rosh Hashana) or to some Feast of Trumpets (Shofar).  I don't own a Shofar, I respect those that can do it well.  My attempt would probably sound like the dying throes of the animals it was removed from.  I am not wizard in the kitchen, so with any luck my wife will make the challah bread.

Feast of Booths, has been a wash-literally.  Maybe next year.  Yom Kippur went well.  Being Messianic, I don't believe in the bedhead look, as we are instructed that when we fast, to not go around looking as if we are.   However, out of the four of us, I was the only one willing to wear my kittle in public.  It is also an odd occasion to wear a tallit after dark.  When I get a chance to get to the synagogue, after services I put it away.  My wife finds the Kittle morbid as often Jewish men are buried in them.  But, she forgets about using them for Yom Kippur, and often as a marriage garment.
