Yes, he passed away after battling Hodgkin's Lymphoma for many years.

Administrators Eric Posted September 24, 2019 Author Administrators Share Posted September 24, 2019 Name them. This is a ground ball for old farts. The youngest guy in that picture is 92 or 93.
tous
I'm thinking, from left to rght: Dick Van Dyke. Carl Reiner. Mel Brookes. Norman Lear. <--- old fart
tous
At first glance, I thought that Mel Brooks might be Jerry Van Dyke, but Mel's stature made the conclusion. Jerry was of average height; Mel wasn't. No slide rules were involved. NB Those that think that woke televsiion began just a few years ago, it all started in the 1970s. Thank hippie socialist Norman Lear for many series that featured noble minorities and dumb, racist, sexist white guys. 1
Borg warner
Some people these days wouldn't know what this is. (dimmer switch) But I had a 54 Chevy truck that some people wouldn't be able to figure out how to start it because the starter pedal was on the floor to the right of the accelerator pedal. They'd be turning the ignition key and nothing would happen. I liked the dimmer switch on the floor, And I liked it when you didn't have so many wires going through the steering column. Cars back then were easier to work on, but they had to be because they needed to be worked on all the time Edited September 24, 2019 by Borg warner 2

I remember starter switches that could only be reached if you pushed the clutch in also.

Buicks with the dynaflow transmissions had the starter button under the gas pedal and you turned on the ignition key and pushed the gas pedal down to the floor to start the car.

Cubdriver
Another vote for Bailey. Girl-next-door/hot librarian > bombshell, in my book at least. (And apparently quite a few others, too.) -Pat 1
